I serve with an organization called Sparrow. During Sparrow Restore, we meet on Monday nights with women in tough situations. We have dinner, talk about our identity in Jesus, and do an art project. On watercolor nights, we are also discussing how the Lord purposely has us in this place at this time on purpose. People don’t usually think of Lewisville, Texas as having a lot of beauty, but we have a lake, hiking trails, and lots of little pockets of gorgeous spots off the roads. It’s a reminder to me that God has placed beauty in our lives even when they don’t seem so beautiful. We just have to keep our eyes open to see it.
