I had some leftover paint and I was in love with this color palette. My go-to comfort painting is a landscape. Can you tell from most of the paintings on my website? I was working on something more difficult than this right before I painted it, and my brain needed something simple with pretty colors to clean out that deep concentration. I’ve noticed that I tend to need a little brain cleanse after working on something tough, but since I’m usually tired I paint more loosely. I’ve gotten some pretty awesome paintings from that method.
